# Hype Williams’ Dean Blunt releases solo cassette
Berlin-via-UK sound-scrapers **Hype Williams** get an unusual amount of
attention for a couple of weirdos releasing washed-out soundscapes full
of dub gurgles, grunts and barely-there vocals. Maybe there's just
something irresistible about their don't-give-a-fuck attitude, their
sounds filtered down through a haze of weed smoke. Whatever the case,
bongbeast frontman **Dean Blunt** is joining his compatriot **Inga
Copeland** in dropping a new solo cassette tape. The *Jill Scott Herring
OST* is limited to 100 copies, so unless you act fast you'll probably
only see it in .zip format. So head over to **Will Bankhead**'s [**The
