Videodrome 111 – This week’s best videos
# Videodrome 111 – This week’s best videos Here's this week's new wave of fresh music videos featuring excellent audiovisual treatments by directors like Annapurna Kumar, Nabil, Tim & Barry and Zia Anger for bands such as Jef Barbara, Arctic Monkeys, Sealings and many more. **#1 Jef Barbara -- "I Know I'm Late"**, directed by Jess Lee Jef, my man! A kick ass video for the surprisingly catchy track "I Know I'm Late". I can't wait for the release of his album later this fall. **#2 DJ Dog Dick -- "Dried Old Leaves"**, directed by Max Eisenberg and Brad Hurst Hailing from Bushwick, Brooklyn, this is DJ Dog Dick aka Max Eisenberg. "Dried Old Leaves" is from his debut album *The Life Stains*. It's the find of the week, although I'm obviously [pretty late in the game][1]{: target="_blank"}. **#3 Julianna Barwick -- "One Half"**, directed by Zia Anger A gorgeous and ghostly track and video from Julianna Barwick's forthcoming album *Nepenthe* out August 20th. [Daniel][2]{: target="_blank"}, where's your review? **#4 Kid Smpl -- "Necklace"**, directed by Annapurna Kumar The Seattle resident Kid Simpl is back with a new and ethereal five track EP on Hush Hush Records titled *Armour*. **#5 Arctic Monkeys -- "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High"**, directed by Nabil Watch Arctic Monkeys' new video for the single "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?", off the album *AM* **#6 2NE1 -- "Do You Love Me"** The K-pop girl group 2NE1 has a new, colorful video out for "Do You Love Me" which is the follow-up to their comeback single "Falling In Love". **#7 The Bug ft. Flowdan -- "Dirty"**, Directed by Tim & Barry There's a lot of things going on here in this new video for "Dirty" taken from The Bug's new EP. Plus, he did a Death Grips collaboration and a new album is expected to drop in 2014. **#8 Sealings -- "My Boyfriends Dead"**, directed by James Burgess Need some strobe lights? Then go for this crazy, hazy noise clip above. The single is out on August 26th via Too Pure Singles Club. **#9 Cool Angels -- "Nuance"** San Diego's Dream Records prepares another upcoming Cool Angels tape release with this excellent neo-ambient track called "Nuance" which leaves you wanting more. **#10 Just Blaze & Baauer feat. Jay-Z -- "Higher"** , directed by Nabil A cool video for a boring song. Filmed on location in Kerala, India.
