# Videodrome 139 – This week’s best videos
**Each week, Moritz Gayard rounds up the best new music videos so you
don't have to.**
New week, new Videodrome. Today packs the 'new James Blake' aka Oceaán,
a fresh CGI-ed video by Luis Cerveró of [CANADA][1]{:
target="_blank"}-fame for the mighty Liars. Plus Rick Ross and Nacando
are visiting my drome, alongside upcoming kid Shamir, presenting his
self-directed video. Have fun...
**#1 Nocando -- "Never Looked Better"**, directed by Aaron Bennet
This track by Nocando is both hilarious and sad, while the visuals are
directed by Aaron Bennet. Taken from the album *Jimmy the Burnout*,
which is available through Hellfyre Club.
**#2 Sylvan Esso -- "Coffee"**, directed by Dan Huiting
Very mellow but dope. From their debut album to be released on May 12th
through Partisan Records.
**#3 Shamir -- "If It Wasn't True"**, self-directed
This song is *almost* too amazing to be coming from some 19 year old
kid.
**#4 Sunn O))) & Ulver -- "Let There Be Light"**, directed by Adam B
Daniels
Drone music is so weird. Sunn O))) make me feel like I don't exist and
the world is a lie. Which is probably what they're going for. Am I rite?
**#5 Liars -- "Mess On a Mission",** directed by Luis Cerveró
Liars have ushered some progress into modern rock since their
inception---and it looks like they're going to continue that way.
**#6 Shy Girls -- "Voyeur's Gaze"**, directed by Tony Lowe
Here's the new glamorous, chest hair-laden video for Shy Girls' groovy
jam "Voyeur's Gaze". The track is off the Timeshare EP,
which came out last fall.
**#7 Holy Ghost! -- "Bridge & Tunnel"**, Directed by Ben Fries
Get a glimpse of NYC's electronic duo Holy Ghost! tour life in the video
for the *Dynamics* track "Bridge & Tunnel".
**#8 Rick Ross -- "The Devil Is A Lie"**, directed by Christopher Sims
Rick Ross and Jay-Z are out of their minds---*Mastermind* finally in
stores now.
**#9 Oceaán -- "To Lose"**, directed by Jodie Canwell
James Blake has a new contender from Manchester and his name is Oliver
Cean.
