# Emika wrapping up debut album **Emika** the Berlin based producer and sound designer will release her much anticipated debut album later this year. First coming to prominence with her dubstep-emo single 'Drop the Other', she swiftly followed with two more 'Count Backwards' and 'Double Edge'. In between she also inspired **Ostgut Ton**'s five year anniversary compilation Fünf by suggesting that the club ask it's roster of artists to make tracks from a sound library created from the sounds of the club itself which Emika herself recorded. Her self titled debut will be released on her home label of **Ninja Tune** in October, and as well as the aforementioned singles it will also contain the soon to be released double A-side single 'Pretend/Professional Loving'.
