# Videodrome 68 – This week’s best videos
New week, new videos. Since I was very much affected from last week's
enormous EB Festival in Budapest, there wasn't much time to explore new
A/V stuff; nevertheless I did stumble over a few cool new videos. Which
I will now share with you... aren't you the lucky one?
**#1 Cat Power -- Cherokee** (self-direcetd)
A bit of a disappointing video, but a great song. From her latest LP
*Sun*.
///
**#2 Mutant Beat Dance -- Sketch III (L.I.E.S. 014)**, directed by
Oliver Vereker & Juan Bocca
Chicago traxx meets post-VHS aesthetics. I live for this stuff. Check
[L.I.E.S. Records][1] for more astonishing sounds.
///
**#3 Frank Ocean -- Pyramids**, directed by Nabil
Like most of the rest of the world, I love Frank Ocean.
///
**#4 Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs -- Your Love**, directed by
Dawid Krępski
TEED releases yet another music video from his debut album *Trouble*,
this time for my favorite new rave-tastic cut.
///
**#5 AlunaGeorge -- Your Drums, Your Love**, directed by Henry
Scholfield
UK duo AlunaGeorge just released a video for one of the year's best pop
songs. Highly addictive.
///
#6 Kilo Kish -- Navy , directed by Ben Rayner &
Kish Robinson
Kish released her first official video for 'Navy' off her *Homeschool*
EP.
///
**#7 Maria Minerva -- The Sound Direction**, directed by James B.
Stringer
Distorted beats & wonky vocals. Fans of the immaculate Grimes will
love this.
///
**#8 Dylan Ettinger -- Blue and Blue**, directed by Nathan Vollmar
Not Not Fun Records put out wonderful experimental music with lots of
pop hints, and I love them for that. This is the music video for 'Blue
and Blue,' the closing track on Dylan Ettinger's *Lifetime of Romance*.
///
**#9 Lorn -- Weigh Me Down**, directed by Max Friedrich
Taken from his new album *Ask The Dust* which is out now on Ninja Tune.
///
**#10 Holy Balm -- Losing Control**, directed by Ella Barclay
Brand new, appropriately hilarious and playful video from the Sydney
outfit's forthcoming full-length *It's You*. Superb analogue synths!
