# Sun Ra – 20 CD box set
No that's not a ham-fisted typing error. Compiled by the director of
**Sun Ra**'s Music Archive; **Michael D Anderson**, The Eternal Myth
Revealed Vol.1 (volume 1!?!) is a 20 disc collection of music
spanning 1924-1956. Containing well over 400 songs and epic liner notes
the box set is, according to Anderson -- "a detailed music chronology of
every known recording to include Sun Ra as a piano sideman, composer,
arranger, vocal coach and his own recordings as a band leader".
Information on further volumes is not currently available but
considering that the leader of the \"Arkestra\" was musically active up
until his death in 1993, we wouldn't be surprised to see further
additions to the series. More info in the video below.
