# Black Dog say Liber Dogma
**The Black Dog** will release a new album later this year on their
long-term home **[Soma Records][1]{: target="_blank" .xmlblocklink}**.
Following from *Music for Real Airports*, a [concept][2]{:
target="_blank" .xmlblocklink} album of sorts, *Liba Dogma* will be
representing the live sound that the British three piece have been
perfecting over the last few years -- primeval beats and raw loops aimed
straight at the dance-floor.
"This album is about surrendering to hypnotic, physical music played

Funktion One soundsystem...\"
Which sounds like a pretty straightforward statement of intent to us!
Check out this video of the band playing at The Warehouse in Bristol --
gentle ambience to pounding techno in nine minutes.
Some Records will release Liba Dogma *later this year.*
