Belfastian-turned-Berliners Ballet School have exploded this year,
thanks in part to their latest single of twinkling synthpop and it's
accompanying [video][5]{: target="_blank"}. "Heartbeat Overdrive" has
all the nostalgic charm of a John Hughes soundtrack, with strong hooks
and a glowing production that keeps it centered in modernity. I love
these kids.

Yesterday was the birthday of Liz Frasier, a woman whose music has
continued to inspire and touch me throughout most of my life. May she
never die.
