# EB Premiere: BlackBlackGold’s “Gold Chains To Bind Us” mix for Element 7
# Berlin-based subcultural reconceptualization blogger, writer and DJ Daniel Dodecahedron, aka **[BlackBlackGold][1]** was recently offered the chance to soundtrack **Element 7**'s showcase at the [**Lady Gaga** and **Lady Starlight** afterparty][2] in Vancouver.
The rising young company designs beautiful body chains, and they
captured the attention of the megastar---who swiftly selected some
[pieces of her own][3]. For the soundtrack, company founder Jennifer Li
requested "something haunting, but with a beat." With this in mind,
Dodecahedron put together a selection of edits that include **Lana Del
Ray**, **This Mortal Coil**, [**Strange VIP**][4], **Current 93**,
**Blvck Ceiling**, [**Lauren Bousfield**][5], **Litanic Mask** and
**Bruxa**, all woven throughout with his own edits of the music of
Italian composer [Carlo Gesualdo][6]. The result is indeed haunting---in
a hard way: spiritual trap going for your ribs. The soundtrack will be
appear in a video shot for the event, but you can hear it a bit early
