# Dance around the Pole
**Pole** aka **Stefan Betke** is releasing new music -- his first in
over three years. Since the demise of **~**{::}**scape**, the label he
ran with **Barbara Preisinger**, Betke has been somewhat quiet.
Accordingly he has been taking a break to "find his musical direction
and produce a series of new tracks, starting with this 12inch".
Entitled 'Waldgeschichten' , the release marks a welcome return to the
fray for the prince of low frequencies. Warm grooves with plenty of
space between them and a dub attitude (naturally) the record will be
released in October and distributed via Kompakt.
