# Kahn prepares to drop new 12″ **Kahn**'s debut 12″ 'Like We Used To/Helter Skelter' was a beautiful exercise in moody garage, woozy and otherworldy with vocal samples that alternately beg and moan in ecstasy. Now the Bristol beatmaker is readying a new slab of vinyl for [**Punch Drunk Records**][1]. Side A's 'Illy' stacks melancholy vocals on top of pulsating arpeggios, an after-dark burner that soars and dips like a manic-depressive robot. 'Tehran' is even more sinister, Mid-Eastern wails chopped into a skittering rhythm.
