# Munk prepare third album **Mathias Modic**{::}**a**, aka **Munk**, is getting ready to release a third full length album on his own label **Gomma**. *The Bird and The Beat* features 14 cuts of disco influenced electronica with shades of house, krautrock and Eastern influences. With songs sung in English and French the album looks set to fuse together a dizzying array of stylistic reference points and guest vocalists -- 12 of the 14 tracks feature different female guest singers including Lou Hayter of **New Young Pony Club** The album is due to be released in April, but in the meantime you can listen to our Electronic Beats Radio Session with Munk from 2009 [here][1]{: target="_blank" .xmlblocklink}.
