Enjoy.

#1 Tiga – Plush, directed by AlexandLiane

Electronic producer/DJ and Turbo label head Tiga drops the new single, taken from the mix LP Tiga Non Stop. Featuring some models wearing Simon Preen who are trying to stand still through the entire 3:54 minutes. Play it 3x!

///

#2 PEGASVS – La Melodía del Afilador, directed by Canada

Pegasvs presents the video for “The Melody Sharpener”, one of my favorites of their eponymous debut album. The video was made by Canada.

///

#3 Flying Ibex – Denial

According to the label’s Soundcloud page, Flying Ibex are songwriter Barnaby Keen, drummer Dave De Rose and bassist Nathaniel Keen. Formed in 2011—really digging the video and the lovely downbeat.

///

#4 Deerhoof – Mario’s Flaming Whiskers III, directed by Richard Huntington Swanson

San Francisco noise-pop outfit Deerhoof have unveiled the video for their new single, “Mario’s Flaming Whiskers III”, off their latest album. It’s has an enjoyable, kind of creepy circus carnival vibe.

///

#5 Flying Lotus – Tiny Tortures, directed by David Lewandows

An absolute beast: here’s Flying Lotus new, astonishing video for “Tiny Tortures”, taken from his Until The Quiet Comes album, featuring Elijah Wood. Plus, check the inspiring breakdowns of the video pitch and production here.

///

#6 Tom Tom Club – Kissing Antonio, directed by students of Rhode Island School of Design

Tom Tom Club? Yes, Chris and Tina struck back with the release of their Downtown Rockers EP earlier this year and have just made a video for “Kissing Antonio” from that record. The clip was a collaborative effort from current students at Rhode Island School of Design, which, you may know, is where Chris & Tina met David Byrne and formed Talking Heads back in the mid-70s.

///

#7 Charli XCX – Cloud Aura ft. Brooke Candy

I enjoyed the track when the video came out a few days ago but I downloaded Charli XCX’s mixtape and finally had it on replay today. Still not sure about that Brooke Candy rap, mind.

///

#8 Bryant Dope – Champion Sound, directed by Adam “PDA” Ross

Bryant Dope, the 19-year-old upstart rapper from Queens, unleashes the first single from his forthcoming project, New New York. Fans of Joey Bada$$ and golden era NY rap, take note.

///

#9 Nosaj Thing – Eclipse/Blue, directed by Daito Manabe, takcom, Satoru Higa, and MIKIKO

L.A. bass music producer Nosaj Thing unveiled his beautifully styled video for “Eclipse/Blue”, which was created by technology artist Daito Manabe, and stars two dancers, one in front of the screen and the other behind.

///

#10 A$AP Rocky ft. 2 Chainz, Drake & Kendrick Lamar – Fuckin’ Problems

“I love bad bitches that’s my fuckin problem!” But why does this music video feel so last minute? It’s not budget, its just blah. Or is it just me?
'
