# Hiem prepare to escape division street
**Hiem** the Sheffield based electronic pop duo are getting ready to
drop their second album -- Escape From Division Street.
Fronted by **[Bozzwell][1]{: target="_blank" .xmlblocklink}** and
**Nicco Eastwood** the band have been something of a cult favourite over
the last few years. When they released their debut single 'She's the
One' in 2004 on Crosstown Rebels they were being hyped as THE next big
thing, which is not quite how it turned out. But that's OK as they are
thankfully still around, having managed not to succumb to the bang and
bust cycle of the hype machine.
Combining catchy pop hooks with sparkling electronic production and wry
observations, the fun loving pair have enlisted a veritable who's who of
Sheffield based musos (there's many more than you think -- this is the
city that birthed everyone from **Def Leppard**, to **Pulp,** **The
Human league** and **LFO**) to lend their creative touches. Roots
Manuva and Phil Oakey both feature as guests.
Escape from Division Street is released later this month
