# Remembering Sleazy & Coil
**Peter 'Sleazy' Christopherson** was a vastly influential musician; he
helped create what would become the industrial genre as part of
**Throbbing Gristle**, and made some of the greatest music ever as a
member of **Coil**. Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of his tragic
death, and in honor of his work as well as the work of friend and
bandmate Jhonn Balance (whose anniversary also happened
recently) we present this mixtape celebrating their musical art as Coil.
Created by NYC DJ **Helen Keller** and given to us by film-maker Matt
Lambert (aka **dieLamb**, whose EB interview you can read [here][1]{:
target="_blank"}), it's a celebration of two magickal men who changed
the way we think about music. Stream it [here][2]{: target="_blank"}.
