# Remembering Sleazy & Coil **Peter 'Sleazy' Christopherson** was a vastly influential musician; he helped create what would become the industrial genre as part of **Throbbing Gristle**, and made some of the greatest music ever as a member of **Coil**. Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of his tragic death, and in honor of his work as well as the work of friend and bandmate Jhonn Balance (whose anniversary also happened recently) we present this mixtape celebrating their musical art as Coil. Created by NYC DJ **Helen Keller** and given to us by film-maker Matt Lambert (aka **dieLamb**, whose EB interview you can read [here][1]{: target="_blank"}), it's a celebration of two magickal men who changed the way we think about music. Stream it [here][2]{: target="_blank"}. **Tracklist:** Further (feat. Jhonn Balance reading the Coil Manifesto) Disco Hospital Boy in a Suitcase The Anal Staircase First Dark Ride Neither His Nor Yours Love's Secret Domain Ostia (The Death of Pasolini) I Don't Want to Be the One Dark River Where Are You? Refusal of Leave to Land (feat. Sleazy's Final Transmission) Broccoli Batwings (A Limnal Hymn) Going Up Ended [1]: http://www.electronicbeats.net/lifestyle/art/interview-die-lamb [2]: http://soundcloud.com/ooeeoo/coil
