# Lana Del Rey: Born To Die
Okay, we sort of get the **Lana Del Rey** hype now. In a sea of
forgettable alt-pop that desperately wants to be dark (**Charlie XCX**,
we're looking at you) trust an unabashed pop star to truly bring
something righteous to the table. 'Born To Die', the massively heralded
new video directed by French filmmaker/musician **Yoann Lemoine** (aka
**Woodkid**) is a sneeringly lovely piece, and the track draped around
it an authentically enjoyable, strong dark pop song that legitimately
deserves the enormous amounts of buzz it's received.
