# Videodrome 137 – This week’s best videos
**Each week, Moritz Gayard rounds up the best new music videos so you
don't have to. **
Bit late with this new Videodrome here, due to this [SXSW][1]{:
target="_blank"} thingy over is the north of America, the video output
was kinda limited. My search took a while, but now I've compiled another
kick-ass list of new, cool videos featuring my least wanted band Placebo
again, due to a spectacular sequel of this video. Also inside: my girl
Dominique Young Unique is back on the case, major release ahead and
first new video out. Then Delroy Edwards, who surprisingly dropped [one
of the best dub mixes in the last ten years][2]{: target="_blank"} is
back on bass and released a fitting video to his monster called
"LACR003". Not to forget: another potential video of the year from the
hands [of the inspiring Daniels directing-duo][3]{: target="_blank"} for
DJ Snake & Lil Jon. Anyway, start the fun below:
**#1 DJ Snake & Lil Jon -- "Turn Down for What"**, directed by The
Daniels
Is this the most entertaining music video that's been released this year
so far? Looks like, because the video is like nothing you have ever seen
before.
**#2 Placebo feat. Bret Easton Ellis -- "Loud Like Love"**, directed by
Saman Kesh
Well, this was wonderful. I absolutely love these "unfortunate details"
videos and I hope this one isn't the last.
**#3 Gold Zebra -- "Apart Again"**, directed by La Barbe Rousse
Montréal electro-pop duo Gold Zebra gonna release their self-titled
debut album on April 22nd via Visage Musique. As an appetizer they
dropped the La Barbe Rousse-directed video for their smooth, new single.
**#4 Dominique Young Unique -- "Throw It Down"**, directed by Philip
Andelman
J'adore Dominique Young Unique for like two years since "Hype Girl". Now
she's signed to a major label, her debut single "Throw It Down" will be
out on 20th April. Go, DYC.
**#5 DJ PUNISHER -- "LACR003"**
This dope is made by Delroy Edwards under his Punisher alias, "not for
the faint of heart." Yes, yes.
**#6 Mr. Mitch -- "The Lion, The Bitch and The Bordeaux"**
Listen to some magical post-grime courtesy of Mr. Mitch. If you're into
scooters, you'll also love the video. Epic track!
**#7 Kyan -- "Rosetta"**
Rising Cambridge-born Kyan has dropped the video for the lead track from
his debut EP, flavored with some cool technical edits.
**#8 Arca & Jesse Kanda -- "TRAUMA Scene 1"**, directed by Jesse
Kanda & Arca
Aw shit. According to the PS1, "Trauma is an ongoing film project by
Jesse Kanda and Arca first exhibited at MOMA PS1 at the end of 2013. The
film follows a nonlinear narrative about the death of a salaryman, a
drunk driving infant and takes place within a subconscious world.
TRAUMA's score will span through Arca's existing and future works."
