# White Horse drops the Traps **White Horse** knows a thing or two about darkness. The LA-based musician is a member of **Chelsea Wolfe**'s band, one of the best nu-goth acts to throw shade. Under the name White Horse, he's been steadily releasing a flow of EPs called *The Revenant Gospels*. They're all worth looking into, but it's on the third series here that he's found the perfect combination of witched-out mystery and avant-pop appeal. Blending the pitch-shifted vocals of dead musicians with original, bass-heavy electronic compositions, he crafts a blackly beautiful landscape of heaving funeral-procession melodies; a bleak tribute to that which once was alive.
