EB Premiere: SEØUEL – Prague
# EB Premiere: SEØUEL – Prague Busting out of the same scene as [LuckyMe][1]{: target="_blank"}'s Sevendeaths and Claude Speeed, the Edinburgh-born (but Berlin and London-based) [SEØUEL][2]{: target="_blank"} shares a similar predilection for the murkier corners of the dancefloor as his compatriots. However, where Sevendeaths and Speeed are not exactly strangers to witchy ambience, SEØUEL's schlock-heavy productions are delivered with the theatrical wink of the sideshow ringmaster. At its best, his debut EP---which we're premiering in its entirety today---channels the malevolent spirit of darkcore in the elemental pads of "Das Ist", although a strictly twenty-first century sleight of hand ensures this is one of many musical references scattered throughout the EP. The Scottish producer is no fan of half-measures either---have you seen [this video][3]{: target="_blank"}? Good, unwholesome fun---we heartily recommend. *SEØUEL's debut EP* Prague is out Monday, *August 4th on Disorder Recordings. You can purchase it via iTunes [here][4]{: target="_blank"}. * [1]: http://www.electronicbeats.net/artist/lucky-me/ [2]: https://soundcloud.com/sequelsoundx [3]: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKvtEMBWmf4 [4]: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/prague-ep/id899690143?ign-mpt=uo%3D4
