# Crispin Glover premiers his film in Vienna
From the 22nd on, Vienna will be all about gory thrills, weird
affections and other things coming straight from the dark side of
Hollywood (and everywhere else films are made). The [Slash Film
festival][1] opens with an alien invasion and one of the most promising
films this year: **Attack the Block** by Joe Cornish (who will also
attend the screening) takes place in South London and is about a street
gang of young delinquents who get attacked by aliens. Let's not spoil
too much about this movie right now; the shitty trailer has done enough
damage already. Go there and watch it!
Of course there are lots of other great flicks to see; for most of them
it will even be the only opportunity to see it on the big screen. There
is a superhero special on Saturday, a special tribute night to "The
Godfather of Gore" (check out the docu) **Herschell Gordon Lewis** and a
once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see one of the films of überweirdo
Crispin Hellion Glover.
In case you misunderstood, it's not about the films Crispin
Glover is starring, like Back to the Future, Gilbert Grape or
Charlie's Angels; we're talking about *It's Fine! Everything Is Fine!*,
the movie he directed himself. Steven C. Stewart plays a guy who suffers
from cerebral palsy and has a fetish for women's hair. Glover says he
wanted to point out "that handicapped people are human, sexual and can
be horrible" too. After the screening you can ask Mr. Glover a few
questions (you will definitely have a lot) and get some autographs.
And check out [this video][2]. It's the real thing -- not fake like
Joaquin Phoenix.
