# Videodrome #48 – This week’s best videos
**In the need for something visually refreshing? Chill your mind with a
new selection of fresh music videos.**
**#1 Alt J -- Breezeblocks** (directed by Ellis Bahl)
New video for a new song by Cambridge-based band **Alt-J (?)**. Dark,
clever and weird; besides which, it runs backwards.
///
**#2 Django Django -- Storm** (directed by Focus Creeps)
This is off **Django Django**'s self-titled album released in January,
and that funk groove is seriously putting them on a similar level as
contemporaries **Hot Chip**. Still my favorite debut in 2012.
///
**#3 CYMBALS -- No Bad Decisions** (directed by Daniel Brereton)
This new Daniel Brereton-directed video comes just a few days before the
release of four-piece **CYMBALS**' long-awaited EP *Sideways,
Sometimes*, hitting shelves on the 23rd of April.
///
**#4 Feist -- Bittersweet Melodies** (directed by Holle Singer)
**Feist** plays the role of a time-traveling doctor (which sounds oddly
familiar) in her latest music video, a beautifully-shot film directed by
Holle Singer, that uses famous images by Argentinian photographer [Irina
Werning][1]{: target="_blank" rel="noopener"}.
///
**#5 Karl Vorndran -- Bound and Folded** (directed by Karl Vorndran)
From **Karl Vorndran**'s *Thawing* cassette on **RCN Recordings**.
According to Google, all sounds on *Thawing* were made on a custom euro
rack modular synthesizer.
///
**#6 Orbique -- Lost in You** (directed by akustikfilm)
Pure electronica taken from their Always Now Never After album,
released soon via rec72.net.
///
**#7 Mobbin No Sobbin -- Fancy Schmancy** (directed by Ian Bernick)
**Mobbin No Sobbin Western Tink** dropped his anticipated mini-mixtape
*Chillin Like A Civilian* some days ago. Produced by Beautiful Lou, with
features from **[Green Ova][2]{: target="_blank" rel="noopener"}**
friends **Main Attrakionz** and **Shady Blaze**. Eat a tear.
///
**#8 Pins -- Eleventh Hour** (directed by Sing J. Lee)
Stylish Sing J. Lee-directed footage for Pins' dark hypnotic pop number
'Eleventh Hour', also the first single from the Manchester four-piece.
///
**#9 Analogue Monsta -- Time To** (directed by The Great Nordic Sword
Fights)
This shit is dope. Thug from Beyond, a tripped-out, acid-laced video by
Scion A/V above.
///
**#10.1 Drake f/ Lil Wayne -- HYFR** (directed by X (Little X)
**#10.2 Drake -- Take Care Feat. Rihanna** (directed by Yoann Lemoine)
I'm sure you've all seen these Drake videos but if you haven't, enjoy.
