# Musik Film Marathon: Finissage
Since April 10th, the second **[Musik Film Marathon][1]{:
target="_blank"}** has featured around 40 events in Berlin, from feature
films to experimental films to documentaries. Tonight the festival will
close with two extraordinary events, taking place at two extraordinary
locations. First at **[Martin-Gropius-Bau][2]{: target="_blank"}**. The
German movie *Ein Großer Garaublauer Vogel*, directed by acclaimed
film-maker **Thomas Schamoni** will be screened. It features actors such
as **Klaus Lemke**, **Rolf Becker** and **Marquart Bohm**, to name a
few. The score was written by genre-defining krautrockers **Can**, and
the soundtrack also includes their track 'She Brings the Rain', which
was later featured in **Wim Wenders**' 1994 film *Lisbon Story*, Oskar
Roehler's *Die Unberührbare* (2000) and **Tran Anh Hung**'s film
*Norwegian Wood* (2010).
The screening of the movie will be followed by a talk between **Heiner
Mühlenbrock** and **Irmin Schmidt** from Can, both of whom will be
speaking about various soundtracks Can has been working on in the last
decades. Finally, there will be a party at the infamous .HBC
celebrating the end of the second Musik Film Marathon with DJs
such as Jochen Arbeit ([Einstürzende Neubauten][3]{: target="_blank"}),
Thomas Wydler ([Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds][4]{: target="_blank"}),
Frank Behnke (ex --[MUTTER][5]{: target="_blank"}) and Max Dax
([Electronic Beats][6]{: target="_blank"}).
Come, watch and dance!
