# EB Video Premiere: Dillon – “A Matter of Time” We've got love for Berlin artist Dominique [Dillon][1]{: target="_blank"} de Byington around these parts. After the release of her debut album *Silence Kills* in 2011, the resident BPitch Control singer-songwriter played [EB Festival Zagreb][2]{: target="_blank"} and became an *Electronic Beats Magazine *[cover star][3]{: target="_blank"}. In the interview she described her approach to songwriting as means of speaking her memories out loud and judging by this delicate ballad, the first single from *The Unknown*, her second album due later this year, she's stay true to her art. Like her previous hits such as "Tip-Tapping", the genesis of her songwriting---at the piano, alone with her thoughts---is very much in evidence, as is the application of synthetic atmospheres, the synthetic chorales and sunken throbs. The video, an EB video premiere, features a bare Dillon facing away from the audience, does a fine job of giving the simultaneously naked yet obfuscated, abstracted quality of her work a visual form.
