Like the hypercolor internet child of magazines like **Nickelodeon** and **BOP**, TW focuses on exposing readers to the gay and trans side of youth idols, with interviews like NYC's \"Black Sailor Moon\" **Mykki Blanco** and pinups devoted to hip-house producer **Kingdom**. By taking the medium of print teen media (fast becoming extinct) and transforming it via virtual phenomenons, Teen Witch visionary *Zain Curtis* means to treat these ideas and concepts as idols, stars to be hung in lockers, names to be scrawled on notebooks. Exclusive photos and in-depth discussions mean that this is thicker and meatier than the gloss-pop zines as well; just how we like it.
